- “Invalid BAM XML: …”
- The file isn't well-formed XML. Open it in the text editor and fix the error; the viewer refreshes when the document changes.
- “This does not appear to be an exported BizTalk BAM definition.”
- The root element name doesn't contain bam and the file has no Activity or View elements.
- “No BAM Activity or View elements were found.”
- The file was accepted but contains no Activity or View elements.
- A list is empty
- The file may use element names the viewer doesn't read. See How the file is read.
- The viewer isn't offered in Open With…
- It is offered for .xml and .bam files only. Check the file extension, that VS Code is 1.85 or later, and that the extension is enabled.
- I can't edit the definition
- The viewer is read-only. Reopen the file with the Text Editor to edit it.
