The header

The header shows the file name and three counts for the whole map, across all pages:

CountWhat it counts
linksLink elements on all pages.
functoidsFunctoid elements on all pages.
pagesPage elements under Pages.

Source and target

Two cards show the map's schemas, read from the map's SrcTree and TrgTree:

  • Root node: the RootNode_Name attribute, for example Order. If it is missing, the card says Unknown source root or Unknown target root.
  • Reference: the Location of the tree's Reference, usually the schema's .NET type name.

    <Reference Location="Orders.Schemas.Order" />
  </SrcTree>
  <TrgTree RootNode_Name="Invoice">
    <Reference Location="Billing.Schemas.Invoice" />
  </TrgTree>

Pages

Large maps are split into pages in the BizTalk Mapper. The drop-down lists every page by its Name (or Page 1, Page 2 … when a page has no name). The viewer shows the links of one page at a time and starts on the first page.
