Install

Install the extension from the Visual Studio Marketplace or from a VSIX you build yourself.

From the Marketplace

    Open the Extensions view

    in VS Code (Ctrl+Shift+X, or Cmd+Shift+X on macOS).

    Search for BizTalk Rules Engine Viewer

    and select Install. The extension ID is lambogenius.biztalk-rules-engine-viewer.

You can also install it from a terminal:

code --install-extension lambogenius.biztalk-rules-engine-viewer

The extension needs VS Code 1.85 or later. It needs no BizTalk installation.

From source

To build the VSIX yourself, clone the GitHub repository and run:

npm run build      # runs the tests and packages artifacts/biztalk-rules-engine-viewer.vsix
npm run reinstall  # rebuilds and installs the VSIX with the code command

Reload VS Code after installing.
