What the current version does not do.

What the viewer doesn't do

  • No parsing or validation: the viewer shows the text of any file you open with it. It doesn't check that the file is an ESB itinerary or that it is well-formed XML.
  • No structured view: itinerary steps, resolvers and services are not shown as separate items or as a diagram. You read them in the XML.
  • No search inside the panel: use the text editor's Find for that.
  • No connection to BizTalk or ESB databases: it reads exported files only and doesn't deploy or change anything.

The extension is at version 0.1.0. Requests and issues are welcome on GitHub.
