Search, filter and export

Narrow the diagram to the shapes you need and save the parsed model as JSON.

Search and filter

  • Search shapes matches, ignoring case, a shape's name, type, source tag, attribute values and reference names. Search for a port or map name to find every shape that uses it.
  • The type filter (All shapes, Receive, Send, …) shows one shape type.
  • Both apply to the shape list and the diagram. Lines are drawn only between shapes that are still shown.

The counts

CountMeaning
ShapesAll recognised shapes, including Artifact and Unknown.
Receive, Send, Maps, DecideShapes of type Receive, Send, Transform and Decide.
RefsReferences over all shapes.

The counts are for the whole file; search and the filter don't change them.

Export the parsed model

Export parsed model (the file icon in the toolbar) opens a Save dialog in the orchestration's folder, suggesting <file>.viewer-model.json. The JSON holds the title, namespace, counts, every shape with its type, attributes, references and migration note, the lines between shapes, and the diagnostics. Use it to review an orchestration in another tool or to compare orchestrations.

Version 0.1.0 tried to download the file, which VS Code doesn't allow from a viewer, so the button did nothing; update to 0.2.0.
