Readable rules without the Rules Composer

Exported BRE policies are verbose XML: every condition and action is a tree of elements. The Rules Engine Viewer is a custom editor for VS Code that turns each rule into a short card with an IF section, a THEN section, its priority and whether it is active.

How it treats your files

• Read-only: the viewer never changes the file.
• Local: the file is parsed inside VS Code. The extension makes no network calls.
• Live: the view refreshes when the underlying document changes.
• Exported files only: it doesn't connect to the SQL rule store, browse vocabularies, execute policies or deploy them.
