Select a shape
Click a shape on the diagram or in the shape list. The inspector on the right shows its name, type and source tag, then:
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Migration Note | The note for the shape's type (see Shape types and migration notes). |
| References | Chips such as port: OrdersIn or map: Billing.Maps.OrderToInvoice, or No direct references detected. |
| Attributes | The element's XML attributes and values (up to 22), or No attributes on this node. |
| Diagnostics | Messages about the whole file, when there are any. |
How references are found
References come from the shape's attributes, its Property children (name and value), and child elements whose names suggest an artifact. The name decides the kind:
| Kind | Attribute or property names that contain |
|---|---|
message | message, messagetype, source, target |
port | port |
map | map, transform |
schema | schema, namespace, elementtype, documenttype |
binding | binding, address, uri, transport |
operation | operation, action, method |
correlation | correlation |
variable | variable, property |
Values longer than 240 characters are skipped. The Refs count in the sidebar is the total over all shapes.
