Pipeline configuration

Binding exports can carry per-port pipeline configuration as embedded XML. The viewer expands it into a collapsible block under each receive location and send port, showing the pipeline name, its tracking option and type, and then its stages in order.

Stages

Stages are named from the stage name in the data or from their well-known category IDs:

StageExecution mode shown
DecodeAll
DisassembleFirst match
ValidateAll
Resolve partyAll
Pre-assembleAll
AssembleAll
EncodeAll

Stages with other category IDs are shown as Stage 1, Stage 2 and so on, with their category ID.

Components and properties

  • Components are numbered in execution order and show their short name, with the full type name underneath.
  • Properties are listed in a table with the property name, the value and its variant type (vt). Sensitive names are hidden as described in Receive and send ports.
  • No configuration: if the export only names the pipeline, the block says that the export doesn't include stage or component configuration for it.
