- A .btm file opens as XML text
- An editor association overrides the extension. Use Open With…, choose BizTalk Map Viewer, then Configure default editor for '*.btm'. Or remove the *.btm entry from workbench.editorAssociations.
- Invalid BTM XML: …
- The file is not well-formed XML. Open it in the Text Editor, fix the error shown, and the view updates.
- This file is not a BizTalk mapsource document.
- The root element is not mapsource. The viewer only reads BizTalk Mapper .btm files, not XSLT or Data Mapper files.
- No map pages found.
- The file has no Page elements under Pages, so there are no links to show. The source and target cards are still filled in.
- No mappings match this filter.
- Clear the filter box, or check that you are on the right page.
- The extension does not install
- It needs VS Code 1.85 or later. Check Help › About.
