- “Invalid rules XML: …”
- The file isn't well-formed XML. Open it in the text editor and fix the error; the viewer refreshes when the document changes.
- “No RuleSet elements found.”
- The file has no RuleSet element. Open an exported BRE policy file.
- A rule shows Always under IF
- The viewer found no if, condition or conditions element in the rule.
- A rule shows No action found
- The viewer found no then, actions or action element in the rule.
- The version says Version not specified
- Update to version 0.2.0, which reads the BRL version element. If it still says so, the rule set has no version element and no major or minor attributes. See How the file is read.
- Rules are missing
- Check Show inactive and clear the filter box. Make sure the right policy is selected.
- The viewer isn't offered in Open With…
- It is offered for .xml and .brl files only. Check the file extension, that VS Code is 1.85 or later, and that the extension is enabled.
